Hello Franklin Families!
I want to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to Franklin Elementary School. Whether you have been part of the Franklin community for several years, or are new to the community like me, we look forward to working with you and your children throughout this year.
Franklin Elementary serves students from 4-year old Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Every staff member at Franklin is dedicated to working together to create a strong and safe learning environment for all of our students. We are looking forward to partnering with families and the community to support the social emotional development and academic learning of our students-- our community’s future.
Be sure to reach out to introduce yourself to me via email this summer, or come to one of the family listening sessions I plan to have during July and August. I look forward to hearing about your experiences, and working together to continue to support all of our students and families at Franklin.

About Franklin
Franklin serves families in the Bay Creek, Bram Addition, Vilas, Bay View, Dudgeon-Monroe, Greenbush, South Campus, Regent and the Brittingham neighborhoods. Franklin Elementary welcomes about 400 children in 4-year-old kindergarten through grade two each year. We are an inclusive school, welcoming everyone to our learning community.
Since 1984, Franklin has been a partner school with Randall Elementary, a unique arrangement in that children from two school attendance areas join for pre-kindergarten through second grades at Franklin and third through fifth grades at Randall.
