We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare! This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection at our schools. It provides a safe way for our community to:
- Send and receive school and class communications
- Receive notifications of a message via email, text, phone, or ParentSquare App (free for iOS and Android devices)
- Share pictures and files
- Direct message with your student's teacher or school admin
- See calendar items
- Schedule parent-teacher conferences
- and much more . . . all in one centralized place!
Emails will come from names such as "Madison Metropolitan School District via ParentSquare," "MMSD Communications via ParentSquare," "[school or staff name] via ParentSquare."
Create an Account–Parents and Guardians
You will still receive messages from our school if you do not create an account on ParentSquare, but it unlocks many features, including help guides. To register your account, please:
- Visit https://www.parentsquare.com/signin
- Under Register, enter Email or Cell Phone Number. You must use the same email address or phone number you have listed in Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Click Get Started.

Create an Account–Middle and High School Students
Similar to parents and guardians, students in grades 6-12 can access communications through StudentSquare, a feature of ParentSquare:
- Visit mystudentsquare.com/signin
- Click "Sign in With Google" using your school email
How to Add your Phone Number
To make sure you can receive texts from MMSD, please review or add your cell phone number to your ParentSquare profile.

Log in to StudentSquare and go to My Account.
- Under Edit Account, click Add next to Phone.
- Enter your cell phone number and click Next. A verification code will be sent via text through ParentSquare.
- Enter the verification code and click Confirm.
